Murang’a County – June 20, 2025 – In a joyful and memorable facility handover ceremony, TFalls Foundation officially handed over newly upgraded infrastructure to Kayu School, transforming both the school environment and the community’s spirit. The event was marked by vibrant cultural celebrations, heartfelt gratitude from community members, and a special homecoming for Timothy Muthoga, a TFalls member and former pupil of the school.
Facility Handover and Ribbon Cutting
Central to the day was the official handover and ribbon-cutting of major improvements, including a renovated administration block and a modern ablution block. These upgrades were fully funded and completed by TFalls Foundation, reflecting their ongoing commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure in rural Kenya.
The handover was led by Timothy Muthoga and his family, Harrison Maina and his family, along with the Kenyan construction crew and their families, all of whom played key roles in bringing the project to fruition. Also present was Mr. Githinji, who had made the initial visit to the school alongside TFalls Foundation president Charles Wangondu to assess the situation and needs.
Special appreciation was extended to the TFalls Foundation board members for their guidance, support, and unwavering commitment throughout the project.
